St. Barbara’s Greek Orthodox Church is please to present its annual GREEK FESTIVAL at East Chapel Hill High School on May 20th thru May 22nd.

This 3 day event will feature such culinary delights such as gyros, lamb, spanakopita (spinach and cheese with layers of filo pastry), souvlakia (Greek shish-kebab), dolmades (rice and ground beef wrapped in grape leaves), and much more.  Don’t forget our traditional Greek pastries such as baklava (layers of nuts and filo pastry soaked in honey), galactobouriko (filo pastry filled with custard), loukoumades (fried dough with honey), and the list will go on and on.

While enjoying your meal be entertained by our folk dancing exhibition, and continuous Greek music. Everyone is welcome to join in.  Before you know it, you’ll be shouting, “Opa”.

After shop our Art Gallery, Gift & Jewelry Shops, Bakaliko Grocery Store, Craft & Souvenir Boutiques.

Come join us.  Bring your family, friends and co-workers to enjoy the festive atmosphere. There is fun for all ages, and remember Greeks are famous for their hospitality!

Proceeds from this event will benefit our new St. Barbara Church on 751 near Southpoint Mall, American Red Cross and East Chapel Hill High School Scholarship Fund.
